I have never had botox but use the dilators and i experience the same situation ie pain in abdomen or the feeli g of pushing against something.

It would be great if somebody could help with this one as iv tried to do a lot of research to no avail.

Thankyou everybody your kind words at a most difficult time help in overcoming the fear.

I have just started to dilate this morning and i am yet to start the in out movement as suggested.

I normally inseet the dilators in turn by turn and leave them for a short period of up to 20-30 depending on how comfortable it feels. is this the correct way to start dilation or should i be inserting and taking them out after evry 5 mins or so!?

I can now walk without pain albeit looking a bit funny with th pink silicone and glass dilators.

I am making progress all without botox at this stage but i need to keep focused and like you all said not be scared to post anything i dont fully understand.

I know what you say your are right i should relax and try to transition.

May sound like a silly question but what is the best way to dilate… Ie pit the dilator in abd leave it in allowong it to stretch the muscles or keep putting it in and out to get used to that motion?

How long after using your dilators coninuously did you transition to intercourse?

My last post was very me me i know… Just going through a very stresful time with hubby and dont know if i will eva get rhrough this. Wake up and slepp with aickly feeling all the time…. Just want to b normal and want this to end.

I havent had botox and cant afford this but i am doing ok with the dilators apart from the blue…..really really want to cure myself.

I read all your stories and think your all amazing i wish had that level of strength.. Admire you all

I slept with the glass purple last night so pleased with myself want to try it again tonight and then move to pink.

Not sure how long to stick to pink before trying big blue…. At th moment big blue seems impossible tried it soo many times and doesnt enter past the tip!

Lets hope im soon one of those people that writes to tell you iv dont it!!

Have you transitioned to intercourse? If so how long did you have to use the big blue one before you were able to move to intercouse?

I was hoping somebody could help me . I can easily use all the romance dilators apart from the big blue one. The big blue just doesnt go in ….. Iv tried and tried. Is it maybe th case that i need to keep th pinknin longer i only eva leave this in for 20 mins or so not longer . I dont sleep with th any should i? Will this help.?

Myself….. All i can say is you have tl keep trying. I cant afford to have th botox yet but its something i really want so i can yes iv tried it all.

I always say to myself yes i will try intercourse and then tmrw neva comes as imput it off as im too scared of failing i think that is my biggest problem.

I know what you mean tho i just want to be normal..! It is frustraing as i also havd fertility issues so have a phusical relationship wouldnundoubtedly increase my chance of havibg a baby.

Oh its all too much sometimes but cant stop tryimg

Keep me posted coffee im always looking for your posts as you r one person that seems v similar to myself .

Coffee i dont think you should worry about being discouraging as we are all here to support each other. I have a very serious anxiety issue and tbh my husband has become less tolerant recently and i am doing it alone as it were ! But uv just got to lookat al the progress you have made and then you will realise gou bave gone far.
Arose finally a friend from the ukً…. How many days post procedure did you achieve intercourse.? Im going to have it at a place in london although i relly want to go to us and hqve this via dr pacik as the support bei g offered there seems amazi g and i think that makes a difference in the outcome.

Heather my problem is that i can dilate myself quite comfortably in one motion not pulling etc but i cant tolerate anybody else doing it… If that makes sense but i only learned that when i went for the exam with the gynae expert… I wasnt anxious but when he tried to inseert the smallest dilator he couldnt and i could feel everything but on my own i am fine and i get the 4 biggest plastice one in..

Can i ask another question please when i dilate i sometimes get a bloaty tummy the day after or lower abdomen pain i always wash th dilators with boiling water et. Prior to use

Does anybody else experience this?

I was hoping somebody could help me. I am based in the uk and i went fkr an exam last week and the doc confirmed i have vaginismus…. I am booked into have botox under a GA but he has said that i am not to dilate for 2 weeks after the procedure as he does not want the botox to spread to other areas after 2 weeks i am to start dilating… I can see that all you girls dilate immediately post procedure.

I was wondering if somebody could help. Im quite stressed to be honest. I have been dilating myself with the plastic dilators from vag.com but when i went for the exam the doc couldnt even enter a q-tip as i was tense…
