You should be able to use them right away, no matter if you did bleed.. The amount of blood after a pap test is very little, and sometimes never even show… I didn’t bleed at all, but I know that when I was on my period I still dilated even if it was only for 10 minutes… everything helped!!

Totally agree, I don’t know what I would do without the Candy stick… Looks scary at first, but it seriously has worked wonders for me!

No, don’t skip the dilating! I have had no problem with dilating before my 1st smear, my doctor was completely fine with the use of dilating 🙂

What I am concerned about is the “cervix check” during pregnancy where they put a whole hand up your vagina.. I know that none of my dialtors are going to prepare me for this.. I’m scared so much that often when I think about it I just want to cry… I don’t want them to do that to me, but I know it has to happen to see how dilated your cervix is. 🙁

    UPDATE:
I no longer do yoga daily, but I still do it about 2 times a week.

I have found a routine that has worked for me:
    Pink Glass: 1 hour
    Blue Glass: 35 Minutes
Blue Silicone( for length): 35 minutes
    Candy Stick- 5-6 minutes

I am 8 months post operation, and have just not been able to have comfortable pain free sex because of this routine, and with this routine and non pain, I have been able to relax more. I think I was so tense because it wasn’t comfortable any time before.

    Hope this helps 🙂

I am Doing much better after incorporating the candy stick for 5-6 minutes before intercourse. I’ve had 0 pain with it for about a month now 🙂 never knew a simple change\addition could help out so much!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is having slight discomfort from just dilating with pure romance, because I needed something a little more, and I didn’t even know it until 6.5 months post procedure. And, let me add I’ve had the Candy Stick hidden away because the size was so intimidating to me, but you can do it, as long as you take your time with dilating and incorporate it slowly. Just keep in mind that the vagina was meant to stretch, and you CAN do it!!!!

    My Dilating Routine:
    Pink Glass: 1 hour
    Blue Glass:35 minutes
Blue Silicone: 35 minutes ( I add in the silicone because of the length)
    Candy stick- 5-6 minutes…

Not saying this is the routine that will work for everyone, but it is something I have found that works for me, and I am thrilled that I no longer have to be in pain 🙂

    Keep your heads up ladies!
