ParticipantI am so low. I cry myself to sleep most nights. I am still on dilator 3. It is less sore but feels uncomfortable when it is inside. It has been months now and I only have 2 months botox left. I have been told to try and do it with my boyfriend and try to be aroused. I cannot. I feel all my sex drive has been zapped out of me. To be honest I would rather eat a bar of chocolate than do any sexual non penetrative activities. Is this normal?

ParticipantThank you for all the advice. One more question. Is it reasonably normal to feel soreness and discomfort while actually doing the dilating. I worry that when I do try intercourse it will be sore then, The soreness has not dissipated, Does it mean that I am simply stretching the muscles and that is why I feel soreness. Is it just the case that I need to spend more time dilating before moving on. I feel pretty low as my provider (who has offered no more help) informed me after botox I would be able to have sex after 2 weeks. I am so confused. I do not know what is right and what is wrong. Regarding numbing cream/gel can you recommend one and how to apply it.

ParticipantIhave been dilating for over four weeks since my post botox follow up appointment now and I have moved onto dilator 4 out of 5 dilator sizes. I can insert it but it is sore as was the number three even when I decided to change to number 4. My provider said after 2 weeks I could try intercourse which is not what is happening. Shoud I continue to feel discomfort and soreness. I am at a loss as it is clear my provider is not going to give me further guidance and advice. I cannot imagine attempting intercourse. I am feeling really low indeed as I just do not know what is happening is normal or not

ParticipantDo you think the use of a numbing lubricant could hlep initailly to help me move to a number 4 dilator, I have been on a 3 for over 3 weeks now and I still feel soreness. My regime is to move the dilator in and out 20 times which I am able to. Ihad botox on the 5th June. Do i still have time and what is happening fairly normal

ParticipantI have done dilator 3 for 2 weeks a little sore but I am able to do it reasonably well. I am very nervous to move to number 4 if I am sore because I think it will make dilating sorer. Has anyone got any advice on the best way to move forward

ParticipantI have had botox treatment four weeks ago, I am not sure if this is normal or not but when I dilate I feel soreness. Pain out of ten is three but I thought with botox this was not going to happen. Any advice would be really appreciated
