    Hi Arose

I am also from out of the USA (South Africa) and i went to see Dr P in April this year. It was the best decision I have ever made. After struggling with vaginismus and not being able to have intercourse with my husband for years, I am now pain free and enjoying a normal sex life! It only took 19 days after the procedure to be able to have pain free sex!

I know it is a long way, and expensive to go all the way to America, but I can assure you that if you do it, and follow the dilation schedule afterwards, this will be the last treatment you have to go though 🙂

    Good luck!

    Hi ESSAN

I had my procedure on the 3rd of April, and yes, it was pretty scary for a little while, and I found using the dilators the evening after the procedure and the next day quite painful (you are stretching muscles, so they ‘complain’). The best advice is to take lots of Advil and keep at it. I took a break to fly home to South Africa, so did not dilate for nearly 2 days, and when I got home, I put in the purple (medium dilator) and there was no pain 🙂

Since then it has got easier and easier, I have progressed to the second largest dilator which I use every day, religiously, and 16 days after the procedure I was able to have pain-free intercourse!! In fact, it wasn’t just pain-free, it was fun and pleasurable! My husband and I are now having fun and experimenting with positions and different rooms in the house!!! I couldn’t even picture this a month ago – what Dr P and his team does is truly awesome and really does work!

Find the money, book the leave and go and do it, it will be the best thing you can do for yourself (and your current or future relationships). I know I sound a bit like a fanatic, but I really am just so thrilled to finally be ‘normal’ again, to enjoy sex with my hubby and to be cured of something that so many docs told me was in my head!

Good luck, you are welcome to contact me if you want to chat more about anything. If you do, ask Dr P for my email 🙂

    Hi Annabel

The bus (Boston Express, I think), from Boston to Manchester is clean, comfortable and only about and hour, and very inexpensive, so I recommend it. We spent 4 days in Boston before the procedure and it is a stunning city. I would have liked to got to New York too, but time didn’t allow.

Hi there, there is no need, Dr P and his team will check you out on the day to make sure everything is fine – don’t
put yourself through any more pain than you need to!

    Hi Catherine and Walker

Good luck for the 12th of June! I had the procedure on the 3rd of April (I flew all the way from South Africa for it) and it’s the best decision I have ever made! 17 days after the procedure my husband and I had pain free, fun intercourse!! We are over the moon, and acting like newly weds now, even planning our 2nd honeymoon (when we can actually act like real honeymooners!).

I had had serious vaginismus for 7 years, but painful intercourse for years before that – i just put up with it to try to be ‘normal’.

Just follow the advice and dilation schedule of Dr P, he really knows what he is doing and it works!

Hi Ladies, I am the 3rd patient for the procedure this week and I’m also nervous! I am excited too though, I really believe that this will be the last treatment that I have to go through for this, and I can’t wait to be ‘normal’ in a few weeks!
My husband and I have flown here from South Africa for this, so we are a long way from home, but we believe so strongly in the procedure that we really think it will be worth the expense and VERY long flights! I think that we will all just have to work hard with the dilators for mant months to make sure it is successful. Look forward to meeting you both tomorrow!
