H everyone! Julie here. I am currently 3 days post procedure and could not be more elated about my future! I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Dr. Pacik, his wife, and comforting staff. I have amazed myself with my own anxiety with insertion of #4 and #5 dilators. The work they do is truly a Godsend. They really make you feel at home. For years I was frustrated, mad, withdrawn, etc. I was even angry with God. I feel grateful to have found such a compassionate person and center dedicated to helping women like me. I am making it my mission to spread the word and to help others with vaginismus so they to can overcome this. I really believe in paying it forward. Currently I am in school for nursing. I aways wanted to get into Plastics-When I attain my RN I want to specialize as a Plastic Surgical Nurse. This is my goal and my calling. Thank you again, and I wish the best for past, current, and future vaginismus patients. Stay positive ladies! This is a whole new beginning! Make it fun 🙂

Hi girls! My name is Julie and my procedure date is booked for February 24th and I cannot wait! I am so excited, nervous, relieved all at once. I love that we have this forum to share our experience. Congratulation to you girls for your upcoming date! I thought it would be funny if I could book Valentine’s Day instead(I didn’t) wasn’t available so I could say Happy “V” Day to me haha. It’s going to have a whole new meaning to me. Its definitely time. I wish I could have done it years ago, but it just wasn’t an option at the time. I wish all of you the Best of Luck and will keep you posted through the forum with my progress as well. Have a great day all =)

    Hi Heather!
Thank you for sharing that story and those positive words. I needed that. I guess it’s just a bit of self
doubt and of course my anxiety. I really look forward to my procedure, and I am glad to use this forum to all any questions I might
have in the future. Currently I am single, and I am thinking positive about my journey- whether I met someone soon, or somewhere down the road. It ought to
be interesting, and I cannot wait to see the results.

Hi my name is Julie and I am new to the forum. I am currently single and have set my appointment for this February. This is so exciting, but I am nervous because it is taking over a year for some women to be able to have spontaneous sex? Is that for everyone? Oh man I am going to dilate a lot. I want to overcome the anxiety until I meet a guy.
