Hello! Well, I survived the procedure with no lingering side effects that I was afraid of. I am so very glad I did the procedure. At 2 weeks post botox injection I started physical therapy. It’s been several weeks now. I am doing well in PT and using the dilators at home on my own. I couldn’t believe it when I was able (with breathing) get the smallest dilator in all the way! Since then I have moved up to the next size. It’s still a sensitive but I’m able to do it!!!! I’m thrilled. I have hope now that I will be able to have intercourse with my husband. It’s been almost 9 years! I see my urogyno at the end of Nov. He will decide whether I should get another injection not. Hope not. This has been expensive but worth it too. So I don’t know what he will say. My goal is to get up two more sizes with the dilator before I see my doctor. Thanks for checking in. I will post again in about a month. 🙂

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I talked to my doctor about my anxiety about this and he told me there is only a 1% change of the side effects that I’m afraid of. So I’m going for it! Sept 13. And I will work hard to get better. I’ve already got a physical therapy appointment set post Botox.
