I am loving TV these days. Remember when Lucy and Ricky’s bedroom had twin beds separated by a large piece of furniture?! Nowadays even vibrators are the subject of discussion on a Prime Time television show.

Every type of family dynamic is represented on screen. We have same sex couples, working moms, single moms, stay at home dads, interracial couples. We even have a doctor on the autism spectrum. I know I haven’t covered everyone but you get the picture!

These shows broaden our horizons and allow us to empathize with real life people and real life issues facing them as well as ourselves.
