The Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

VdayFeature

This Valentine’s Day will probably look a little different, no heading to a restaurant for a romantic dinner or traveling for a weekend getaway. But since you’ll be spending the whole day at home, that just gives you more time with your partner! Here are some gift ideas to make this year special.

Since going to a spa is out of the question, create a DIY version at home. Use a massage oil candle while massaging your partner or take a bath together with some bath salts and light some scented candles to help set the mood.

If you’re looking to spice things up, consider sex dice, sex toys (check out our resources on How To Choose A Vibrator and Our Top Recs), some sexy lingerie, or a new lube (check out our recommendations here). To help get your mind in the mood or give you some fun ideas, go for an illustrated copy of the Kama Sutra, a subscription to an ethical porn site, romance novels (Bridgerton anyone?), or some erotica.

A lot of us are on tight budgets this year, so if you’re not looking to spend any money (or are looking for a fun activity to do while you’re stuck at home) I would highly recommend filling out a sex worksheet. They’re a fun way to find out more about what your partner likes and doesn’t like in bed–which at the end of the day is priceless.

A safe and comfortable place to discuss vaginismus

The vaginismus forum at Maze Women’s Health is designed to bring women together. We understand that painful sex, vaginismus treatment, and the subsequent recovery can be sensitive topics, and you should have a safe and comfortable place to voice your experience, opinions, and concerns.

We envision this vaginismus forum as a place for you to introduce yourself, share your personal story, ask questions, and discuss any and all aspects of vaginismus, including our treatment options. We sincerely hope that you find this to be a comfortable place to discuss your struggles and triumphs as you navigate through vaginismus treatment. Talking through these issues with women that have gone through it can make all the difference.
