The road to change is rarely a straight one. There are usually some bumps along the way. At Maze Women’s Health we treat many women with Vaginismus. It’s so rewarding to witness the success our women have as they go through the necessary dilation process.
It may take years for someone to begin treatment and I get it – change takes place in stages and is arrived at slowly. These stages may include pre-contemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, maintenance, and termination. Once you have taken action it’s typical for confidence to wax and wane. I like to believe that failure to progress isn’t failure but rather just being at an earlier state of change.
What we try to create at Maze is an environment that is conducive to the change being sought.
