Hello Hatuey! First of all congratulations!!!
I overcame vaginismus but without botox, only dilating. I dont know if botox adds any negative variable to the ecuation, I am hoping not since there are doctors here recommending the practice. For me it was longer than 2 weeks to insert all the dilators, almost a year. But this depends on the anxiety that one have. From my experience, what I can tell you is that, given that pain is (at least in me) what triggered the penetration “fobia” and involuntary contractions, try not to move to the next dilator if it still sores. Move the N°3 around in circles, up and down, in and out, contract and relax, leave it inside you longer (I had N°4 of 6 about an hour inside me, for I couldnt move to 5, and eventually I could). And only when it stopped soring, try with the next one. You will definitely overcome this shit, I now how helpless you must feel and ancious to beat vag., and you will, it just takes some time, pur head is more stubborn than we imagine.

hellooooo! I wanted to tell you guys, I was able to have sex finally!!! after almost 6 years being in and out of therapy, and in and out of dilatation training because of heavy frustations.
It was super easy, I was surprised. I am still not able to come with a partner, I can only come by touching myself when I’m alone, but that’s part of getting to know myself having sex.
Well, I wanted to thank you all guys, this forum have been really helpful, you are so supportive and caring. Thank you so much!

I am here if you need anything, and i hope i can help other women as you have heped me.
I’ll be around, reading the forum, and paying attention just in case i can contribute.

    Bye!!!!

Hi, i’m a single patient for example. Today i made it through the 5th dilator, so im pretty excited, i have only one left. But i still have this insecurity, because i don’t know how my first time will work with someone that is not my boyfriend. I was thinking of calling a guy i used to meet up with. We practised just oral sex, he knew i had trouble with penetration so he never insisted, but we never talked about it because we never had a relationship, it was just beers, oral sex, bathing, and that’s it. Do you think it’s possible to have my first time with a random guy like this, explaining the gentleness and patience he need to have?.. because im not really looking for a boyfriend, i just want to have sex.
    Thank you for your time!!!

Hi! I’m still struggling with this condition, and i find it really hard to go on date and stuff because of it, but i will share how i handled the conversations when it came to it.
The first conversation was with the guy i realized i had some sexual problem, the first time the thing headed to the bed, although i didn’t know about vaginismus, i told him i was a virgin, and he was really surprised since i was already 19. I told him ‘It sacres the shit out of me, i simply can’t do it’. Her first reaction was to think i had some kind of tabu around sex, which is imposible because i love sex with all my heart. Then i found about vaginismus, and told him about it, and told him about the dilators and the all treatment. I think talking about the treatment, gives the solid idea that there IS a solution, and that we can solve this. When us women with vaginismus first hear about the treatment, we are instantly filled with relief to know we can overcome it. Well, they need that relief as well.

Hi, iy’s the first time i read about sleeping with a dilator. RThis is a reocmendation only for the post-botox treatment? Or could i try this myself as part of my conventional dilating treatment? It’s not dangerous at all?
