Congratulations Dr Pacik on the publication! 🙂 I really do hope your dream (from the quote) comes true. All it takes is an awesome doctor who’s not afraid to do new things and patients who are willing to be advocates. I hope this article will spread some of the information you have discovered so far in your research. Good luck 😉

Hi 23years! Welcome to the group 🙂
I have just read your story and even if each parson’s story is different, the emotional aspects of it are so strikingly similar. I salute you for being so strong and brave for so many years and I hope that in the future, women like you and I wouldn’t have to go through this nightmare. If the solution exists, people should know about it, especially health care providers.

I wish you all the best with the upcoming treatment and I hope it’ll help you finally find the way out of it. I had mine 10 days ago, and so far, so good 🙂 step after step, day after day, I feel hope and happiness, doing things I haven’t imagined even being possible for me only 2 weeks ago! 🙂

    Good luck!

Sarah, you are extremely brave for posting about vaginismus on fb, I’m so proud of you! I really wish I had the guts to do that, so far I don’t feel ready. It’s true though, surprisingly (or not) a lot of people know somebody who suffers from vaginismus (even if they don’t know the term “vaginismus”). It is very hard to open up to people about such intimate issues (especially after all of those months/years of emotional suffering that we had), but YOU DID THE RIGHT THING 😀

People need to be aware of this condition and it starts with us, victims and in the end VICTORS of vaginismus, to start opening up and talking about it. Personally, my steps so far have been small, 1-2 people at a time, but that’s how it starts.

THANK YOU for setting such a wonderful example! You’re my personal HERO 😀

    Hi Sarah25 and Mlrchi!
My name is Valentina and I will be having my procedure on March 31! I am sharing your nervousness/excitement as well right now! Hard to concentrate on other things, I can’t wait to be “on the other side” (of the procedure 😛 )
Good luck Mlrchi for next week! I know we’re in good hands, so all will be ok 😉 Give us news when you’re done!
Can’t wait to meet you Sarah! it’s nice to know that someone else will be there too on the same day 🙂

Thank you Heather for your kind wishes 😀 I can’t wait to feel better after my procedure and to meet other women who have been through the same thing as me. It will be nice to share with them. So far, I haven’t met anyone who truly understood.
