Dr. Steven Snyder is a sex therapist as well as a medical doctor and wrote this excellent article about Flibanserin in Psychology Today, the so-called “pink viagra” for women. Professionals working in the field of female sexual health are anxiously awaiting the FDA’s decision on whether or not they will approve Flibanserin. Dr. Snyder ascertains we will not know how effective the medication is until it is approved and women start using it. Flibanserin stands to possibly help millions of women with their sexual functioning and I’m hoping we will soon have the option to prescribe it.
