Hi ladies. In several posts and literature, Dr. Pacik has suggested maintaining a dilating schedule for a full year post-procedure. I am coming up on the year date since my procedure and continue to dilate regularly. I don’t dilate prior to intercourse anymore and find this nice as it can be more spontaneous and in the moment. I still dilate prior to GYN exams and tests, however, as I would never want there to be a problem again here. For the veterans reading this who are one or two years post-procedure, did you just stop dilating altogether after the year time-frame? If so, was there any regression (i.e. did you ever experience any pain again with intercourse)?
