I took the song lyrics from Rascal Flatts music, not in an effort to steal his lyrics or melody, but because this song stuck with me in the weeks/months after my procedure. I sung the song with my own version of the lyrics and I would like to share them with the group.

This song is dedicated to Dr Pacik, Janet Pacik and their Team at 57 Bay Street. For what you do daily that improves the lives of so many.

These are my words/my feelings in overcoming vaginismus…

God Bless The Broken Road (that led me straight to you)…

I set out to find my cure, many years ago
Hoping I would find someone, along the broken road
But I got lost a year or two
They beat me down; I kept pushing through
I didn’t realize one year then would turn to twenty two

Every long lost hope led me to where you are
Others they didn’t know what you’ve all seen thus far
Helping us with your skills and accepting us as we are
This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road
That led us straight to you…

I think about the years I’ve spent, the pain that I’ve been through
I’d like to have the time I lost, and use it helping you
But you just nod and understand
You take our hearts not just our hands
It’s all part of a medical plan designed to help these few

Every long lost hope led me to where you are
Others they didn’t know what you’ve all seen thus far
Helping us with your skills accepting us as we are
This much I know is true

That God Blessed the broken road
That led us straight to you…

Thank you to everyone at 57 Bay Street

Thank you for your touching song! It was a long road for you as it is for so many. Lots of detours and wrong turns. But you found your way and you are no longer lost!
Congratulations! We share in your joy!
