Hi ladies. I have an idea of not actually referring to the speculum by its name as it truly can be intimidating. I never think of it as a “speculum” but always think of it and actually call it the name of a dilator or insert as it is even smaller than the purple “pure romance” dilator. Believe it or not, this truly, truly helps so much! Not many people would understand this aversion that I’ve always had but I know that you guys can.

I am so very proud of you Nakitalab! For others reading this, please know that you too can and will have complete success with ob/gyn exams. I never ever thought this was possible prior to my procedure and post-procedure, I’ve had every single exam completely pain-free!!!
