    Hi all

How do you keep positive mentally?

Each day is different with dilation— FACT
but why does our brain tell us we have failed if one day we cant achieve what we did the day before.

Managed The big blue on saturday very comfortable After 2 hours dilation. Yet today after 2 hours of th pink in its still not comfortable.

    Anybody have any general advice.

Also is it possible for somebody to share their dilation schedule im not sure if im dilating enough…. Is there such a thing as dilating too much.?

Sorry for all the questions but i dont really havr anywhere elsr to turn… My GP still struggles to understandbwhat vaginismus is!

    Hi Sarah!

Hang in there because it will better and so much easier. I used to dilate every night and sometimes even slept with pink. I don’t think that you can ever dilate too much…You are just exercising and that is good for you!

Hi Sarah, after my procedure with Dr. Pacik he had me dilate one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening and sleeping with pink (#4) every other night. Sometimes I would go longer, depending on how both my mind and body are feeling. Please try not to be so hard on yourself. I totally understand what you mean though as some days can be better than others when it comes to dilating. Vaginismus is something that not only affects our bodies but even more so our minds…at least that is how it has been for me. Because it is something so close and personal it is not something that we share and personally, it made me feel like I was a freak, not a woman. When those awful feelings of failure come, tell them to get out. I know it may sound silly, but if you have to shout it out. You are doing so well and are on the road to being rid of Vaginismus. You are an amazing woman and are doing great!
