Vietnam & Beyond

COPI final

I recently returned from volunteering on a medical mission in Vietnam with The Children of Peace International (COPI). It was an absolutely amazing experience. 21 Vietnamese and 19 Americans joined together to provide care to 1,238 patients (mostly children) at 7 clinics in 5 different cities over 14 days! We started in Hanoi (North) and finished in Saigon (South) and made stops along the way in Sa Pa, Da Nang, and Hoi An.

We provided primary care, dental, and hygiene services to children in orphanages, schools, community centers and even a safe haven for street kids. I highly recommend this organization to anyone looking to volunteer as there are opportunities for non-medical volunteers as well.

A prospective physical therapist student, Erica Tran, created this video that highlights our amazing journey.

A safe and comfortable place to discuss vaginismus

The vaginismus forum at Maze Women’s Health is designed to bring women together. We understand that painful sex, vaginismus treatment, and the subsequent recovery can be sensitive topics, and you should have a safe and comfortable place to voice your experience, opinions, and concerns.

We envision this vaginismus forum as a place for you to introduce yourself, share your personal story, ask questions, and discuss any and all aspects of vaginismus, including our treatment options. We sincerely hope that you find this to be a comfortable place to discuss your struggles and triumphs as you navigate through vaginismus treatment. Talking through these issues with women that have gone through it can make all the difference.
