Hi all. There is an excellent new blog posted concerning Overcoming Setbacks for the Vaginismus Patient.

    http://www.vaginismusmd.com/overcoming-setbacks-for-the-vaginismus-patient/

In the blog, it describes how setbacks can occur, including:
“some of our vaginismus patients have setbacks a few days after starting to dilate when dilation is not work as well as immediately after the Botox Treatment … then, there is setbacks later in recovery (sudden, unexplained pain to dilating) … one may be too busy and dilate less and have additional setbacks … relationships that have healed post procedure revert back to bickering and poor communication (more setbacks).”

    Furthermore, it notes:
“you will continually be exposed to the same setbacks until you learn from them and start doing things differently. Always remember to believe in yourself, do not lose hope, and keep trying until you succeed!”

Ladies, have you experienced any Setbacks in your own personal journey of overcoming vaginismus? If so, how did you move past these?
