Hi ladies. My hubby and I found that it was very important to celebrate both the small and large accomplishments in overcoming vaginismus. There were so many accomplishments on this journey including successfully using all of the dilators, finally being able to use tampons, having a successful gynecological exam and tests, and being able to finally have pain-free and enjoyable intercourse. With all of these accomplishments, we have celebrated in various ways, including treating ourselves to a couples massage, having a romantic dinner together at our favorite restaurant, and my favorite – taking a long weekend getaway together at a beautiful hotel.
