I have started using the smallest dilator. I find it easiest to sit and spread my legs so I can use a mirror and see where to direct it. I can insert it easily, I dont feel pain and I dont feel like I am stressed/nervous, but after it is in place I start to feel like I am going to faint (heart rate increases, head goes light).
Does this mean I shouldnt progress to the next dilator? Or is the fainting (even though there isnt any pain) an indicator that I should stick with the current dilator?
Thanks.
You could be having a vaso-vagal reaction from inserting the dilator sitting up.
Best would be if you can start trying to insert the dilator laying down, so you have more blood going to your head, and you won’t feel faint.
I think I would master dilating on your back with the small dilator first, and then move up.
