User Profile

I submitted my registration at the end of July, just a little over 7 weeks ago. However, I did not take the final step of obtaining a password, so I cannot log in. I was fortunate to receive consultation and advice from Dr. Pacik before his retirement, as well as encouraging information from Janet Pacik. Dr. Pacilk assessed my condition as post menopausal grade one or level one vaginismus, and vulvar atrophy. I used the dilators for three weeks, without much progress until I added estrace and vagifem to the regimen. I am a 64 year old woman who resumed sexual activity after 17 years of celibacy (very little activity for five years before the period of complete celibacy). After spending most of my adult life in contented solitude, I find myself madly in love for the first time in 35 years. This vulvar atrophy was a shock and, of course, nobody has much information about the condition, except for Dr. Pacik. A physician acquaintance suggested I search the term "vaginismus" and that led me straight to Peter Pacik's site and this forum. I am not fully dilated yet and wish to join the forum to stay informed and encouraged.
