    VaginismusMD now has a Facebook page and I would like people to “Like” us, as well as posting links to articles of interest dealing with vaginismus. This will be very helpful in getting the word out. By linking articles of interest we will be doing more than just promoting our own website, but starting a dialogue referring women to other articles, books or websites of interest. In this way we can start going “viral” and disseminating important information related to vaginismus. This Facebook page will then become a source of information about vaginismus rather than having to post about yourself.

    Thoughts from Dr. P: We have received a number of replies that most women do not want to “go public” on Facebook and this is respected. My thought for Facebook was that by posting articles relating to sexual pain, there would be more awareness of vaginismus. Facebook is not about us, but rather a vehicle where women can get educational information. In contrast the Forum is for our personal stories and support of one another and remains private.
