Hello all! I was told I should post here to ask any questions and discuss this issue. I have technically never been diagnosed but the one time I tried to have a gyno exam, it just didn’t happen. I’ve been married for 4 years and thankfully have an extremely understanding husband. Intercourse is basically impossible. I heard about this site from a Yahoo group I joined with other women with vaginismus. I also learned about getting pregnant through the syringe method from that group. Well after months of trying that method…it worked! I just found out I am pregnant! But I am completely terrified that I won’t be able to find a doctor that will understand my vaginismus. So if anyone knows of a great doctor in the Cleveland/Akron area that would work with me, please let me know. I am in contact with a few doctors but I just don’t want to be humiliated. Thanks for letting me vent as I don’t discuss this with anyone but my husband! 🙂
